For over 16 years, Canadians woke up to Dina Pugliese as the co-host of Toronto’s number-one morning show, Breakfast Television. Loved by viewers for her charismatic personality, Pugliese has a unique ability to bring “sparkle” to everything she does, whether hosting morning television or a corporate event, or emceeing a glamorous evening gala.
Pugliese began her career as an associate producer for Global Television’s The Bynon Show. She then jumped to primetime to help create, write, and co-anchor the network’s daily entertainment show, The A-List, before joining CHUM’s entertainment-driven Star! Daily. In 2006, Pugliese received a Gemini nomination as the host of MuchMusic VJ Search.
Her credits, of course, don’t stop there. Pugliese hosted Canada’s Got Talent for its premiere season in 2012. She also hosted its spin-off called Canadian Family’s Got Talent in April 2020, which was produced virtually by Citytv during the pandemic.
Throughout her prolific career in television, Pugliese has received several honours including being named NOW Magazine’s “Favourite TV Personality” and Toronto Sun’s “Readers’ Choice for Top Personality and Favourite TV Personality”, and a Media Style Award. She was also nominated for three Canadian Screen Awards for Best Host, Talk Show or Entertainment News.
