Eve Turow-Paul is a globally recognized thought leader on food culture and lifestyle trends. As the founder and executive director of BITE (Building Impact Through Eaters) and author of Hungry: Avocado Toast, Instagram Influencers, and Our Search for Connection and Meaning, she illuminates the deeper human needs reflected in modern eating patterns, decoding the “why” behind today’s biggest trends and providing actionable insights for creating products, experiences, and policies that serve both people and planet.

Turow-Paul has worked with some of the largest foodservice and CPG companies in the world, along with city governments and agriculture groups. In 2019, with seed funding from the food program at Google, Turow-Paul founded BITE — formerly Food for Climate League — a non-profit organization working to make climate-smart food choices the norm through narrative and behavioural design.

Turow-Paul has appeared in various media outlets to discuss her insights into the changing landscape of food culture. She views food culture as a key lever for improving mental, physical, and environmental health around the world, with her work appearing in such publications as The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, Plate, Forbes, The Village Voice, The Atlantic, FoodTank, Refinery29, Huffington Post, and more. She was also prominently featured in the documentary film, WASTED! The Story of Food Waste, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
