A familiar face on the top-rated entertainment show, ET Canada, Patel was recently named host of the brand-new series, ET Canada Weekend, and was previously the host of HGTV Canada’s home renovation series, Home to Win, for four seasons. Whether hosting an event or sharing her personal story, Patel infuses everything she does with passion and professionalism.
Named one of HELLO! Canada magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People”, Patel is also the recipient of a Trailblazer Award from the Reelworld film festival, named Anokhi magazine’s “Television Personality of The Year”, and was featured in Vogue India as one of the “50 Most Influential Global South Asians.” Patel has also taken on cameo roles in feature films including Arrival and TV shows like Titans, Murdoch Mysteries, and Guillermo Del Toro’s The Strain. Patel has a passion for giving back to her community. At the beginning of the pandemic, she, and the Toronto Raptor’s superfan, Nav Bhatia, partnered on an initiative When the country of India was grappling with the world’s worst COVID-19 crisis. Patel spearheaded ET Canada‘s “Help India” broadcast special, bringing together some of the biggest names in entertainment to raise over $135,000 for India’s COVID-19 relief fund.
Now entering her third year as Canada’s Covergirl Ambassador, Patel is honoured to be able to use her platform to show how vital representation is in Canadian media, as well as the beauty industry.
