A veteran television personality and broadcast news reporter, Andrea Bain is the newest co-host of Canada’s #1 daytime show, The Social. She is also a popular podcaster and the bestselling author of Single Girl Problems. Known as an insightful interviewer and for her warmth and charm, Bain is the extra element to help make any event a success, whether it’s sitting on a panel, hosting an all-day conference, or moderating a Q&A.
Bain’s career began in the newsrooms of Global and CTV News where she worked as an anchor and reporter. She’s also worked as an entertainment reporter for Reelzchannel in LA and HLN’s Showbiz Tonight, where she interviewed Hollywood heavyweights like Oprah Winfrey, Angelina Jolie, Martin Scorsese and Madonna.
A two-time Canadian Screen Awards nominee, Bain has also co-hosted several popular shows including CBC’s The Goods, HGTV’s Live Here, Buy This, and Slice’s Revamped and Three Takes.
