A veteran comedian and television personality, Scott Bloom has built a reputation as a go-to choice for business humour. He is a skilled host, emcee, corporate comedian, and keynote speaker whose tailored performances deliver funny, fresh perspectives on topics such as teamwork, customer engagement, connection, and more. Over the past two decades, Bloom has hosted and spoken at hundreds of events for small and large organizations alike, with many repeat clients.
As the son of a successful salesman, Bloom was exposed to the principles of building a business at an early age. As a comedian, he cut his teeth at renowned improv and comedy clubs. And as a self-taught student of psychology, he’s explored what makes people tick and has written a book (albeit a farce) on how to get through life. This makes Bloom uniquely positioned to deliver significant concepts on fostering connection, building relationships and making business seriously funny.
Bloom is also the host of the podcast, No More Bad Events, geared towards event professionals. He has also appeared on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, A&E’s Caroline’s Comedy Hour, Evening at the Improv, and Comedy on the Road. Most recently, Bloom was the host of his own weekly VH1 series and is currently developing several game shows for the Game Show Network He is also a national headliner on the stand-up comedy circuit and has performed in Las Vegas at both Harrah’s and the MGM Grand casinos.
