Internationally recognized for her inspiring story, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, is an acclaimed author, humanitarian, broadcaster, and spokesperson who has spent much of her life in the glare of the public spotlight. Speaking candidly about her personal journey to fulfilment and the challenges she had to overcome along the way, Sarah shares the lessons she’s learned to encourage everyone to live their best lives.

In 1986, Sarah married Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. The couple, who amicably divorced in 1996, has two adult daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Determined to earn her own identity after becoming a single parent in the mid-1990’s, Sarah turned her love of writing into a successful career as an author.  She has penned dozens of children’s books and has transformed her personal experiences into the bestselling autobiography My Story, as well as writing Finding Sarah, and a number of lifestyle books.

Sarah is passionately involved in philanthropy and her charities include establishing Children In Crisis, whose aim is to make a true difference supporting and educating children and families in dire need around the world. She is also an advocate for a number of charitable organizations such as Not For Sale, Teenage Cancer Trust, Teen Cancer America, Disability Rights International and many more.

Sarah was also a spokesperson and television personality for Weight Watchers, Avon, and Wedgwood China. Her lively and passionate personality has served her well as a television host, correspondent and featured player on a long list of news programs and documentaries, including The OWN Network, Larry King Live, The Today Show, The View, BBC Radio and Sky One Television.

Sarah is a global advocate in the fight against childhood obesity. She focuses on the education of children, teenagers and the re-education of parents on making healthy decisions about nutrition so that the next generation will be able to lead happy and healthy lives, regardless of their socioeconomic background or where they live in the world.
