Substance use is a complex and far-reaching issue associated with a staggering health impact and cost to society. The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction hosts its National Addictions Awareness Week every November to initiate an annual conversation about the harm caused by substance use disorder and addiction in Canada. This year’s event takes place November 24-30.
