World Pneumonia Day on November 12 saw retired Canadian Football League player Michael “Pinball” Clemons partnering with the Ontario Lung Association to raise awareness of the importance of avoiding pneumococcal pneumonia. Pinball knows the devastating impact of the illness first-hand, as his grandmother passed away from the disease when his mother was only five. He appeared in the great video above to help increase awareness of how to stay pneumonia-free.
