The Canadian Innovation Conference, presented by the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), takes place in Montreal from November 23 to 25. Speakers’ Spotlight is thrilled to be book-ending the conference, sponsoring both the opening and closing keynote speakers.
Kicking-off the conference on November 23 is “Great Traits”, a program founded by Olympic champion Mark Tewksbury and Olympic coach Debbie Muir. Great Traits teaches people to be victors in their own right, using stories, activities, heart, and humour. In their presentations, Mark and Debbie connect individuals, teams, and organizations to their fundamental principles that drive achievement, leadership, and lasting legacies. Audiences always have a blast, and leave with new tools they can immediately put into practice.
Bringing the conference to a close is renowned motivator and communicator, Mike Lipkin, who brings out the best in leaders and employees around the world. The founder and president of Environics/Lipkin, and the author of numerous bestselling motivational books, Mike combines Environics’ trademark “social values research” with his personal expertise to provide people with the confidence and insight to take powerful action and achieve pre-eminence in their lives. At the conference, Mike will present “How To Be Always New, Especially When You’re Not New,” a talk which explains the necessity and magic of reinvention, using well-known examples ranging all the way from Twinkies to Cadillac to Hillary Clinton. It’s sure to be invigorating and as is everything with Mike, great fun.
If you’re headed to the conference, please look out for our very own Kelly MacDonald, who will be delighted to see you there!
