Bruce Kirkby’s Award-Winning Film, The Questions We Ask

In the spring of 2013, Canadian adventurer, photographer, and writer Bruce Kirkby crossed the Georgia Straight from Vancouver to Victoria on an inflatable standup paddleboard. New to stand-up paddleboards at the time, Bruce trained on lakes in the Kootenays for two months to make the 150 km crossing. In this beautiful, award-winning short film, he contemplates the true meaning of adventure. Previously shown only in theatres and private engagements, today marks the film’s public debut.
