Paul recently stopped by the Speakers’ Spotlight office to share his thoughts on what we’ll be seeing in beauty and style this fall:
In hair, Paul stressed deconstruction. Think loose. Loose buns, loose braids–everything is soft and casual. Gone are slicked-back styles and blunt-cuts:
In cosmetics, the eyes are getting more expressive than ever. Paul predicts smokey-hues are going to be BIG as we head into the colder months, and recommends deep oranges for pale coloured eyes and plum shades for darker eyes:
Not to be outdone, the lips are getting their time in the spotlight as well this fall. A single lipstick will no longer do, as more and more we’ll be seeing two colours on the mouths of women everywhere. Dubbed the “ombre” style in homage to the similar trend in hair, it takes a bit of practice to perfect, but the drama and shine it brings to your look is definitely worth it (although we can’t promise it will last longer than it takes to finish your morning coffee):
