Kevin Breel is a comedian who, in his own words, “brings the light and the heavy together” to create “a moment in which you can laugh, and a moment in which you can feel something really deeply.”
His TEDx Talk, “Confessions of a Depressed Comic”, has garnered more than four million views (making it one of the most-watched TED Talks on mental health and depression, ever). Kevin shares his first-hand experiences with depression with the hope that by doing so, his story will help others seek help as well.
Kevin has been called one of the “Most Influential Millennials in the World” by Parade magazine, he is a national ambassador for Bell’s influential “Let’s Talk” campaign, and has been a guest speaker for schools such as Harvard, Yale, and MIT, as well as for Fortune 500 Companies, and the Government of Canada.
