Since Sarah Taylor’s on-air debut at MuchMusic, she has been lucky enough to interview some of the biggest stars in music and pop culture – Jay-Z, Gwen Stefani, Jack White, U2, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé and Oprah. A unique force who draws inspiration from many different forms of storytelling, Taylor is a fan favorite as a MuchMusic personality and guest contributor for FashionTelevision and Etalk. As a speaker and a motivator, Taylor combines her desire to help others with her influence as a host and producer to give back to the community. Extremely passionate about her charity work to benefit women and youth, Taylor commits herself to motivation and empowerment through artistic expression.

A few years ago, Sarah Taylor was trying to decide on her career path, unsure if she wanted to pursue the world of fashion, or follow her women’s studies university background. Then a producer spotted her in the crowd at a taping of MUCHONDEMAND. Taylor’s outgoing personality and eclectic sense of style helped earn her a VJ audition, and the rest is history. Since her on-air debut, she has been lucky enough to interview some of the biggest stars in music and pop culture – Jay-Z, Gwen Stefani, Jack White, U2, Alicia Keys, Beyoncé and Oprah.
 
Taylor is a unique force who draws inspiration from many different forms of storytelling. She reports on style & fashion for MuchMusic, and is a guest contributor to FashionTelevision and Etalk. Fans have watched Taylor travel the world to places like Jamaica, London, Barcelona, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and to the fashion capital of the world and one of her favorite places – New York City. Her personal style is reflective of her love of fashion history and traditional cultural connections.

Extremely passionate about her charity work to benefit women and youth, Taylor commits herself to motivation and empowerment through artistic expression.  She combines her desire to help others with her influence as a MuchMusic host and producer to give back to the community, and she is an important player when it comes to creating a heightened awareness around important social issues. Taylor hosts events for organizations like PETA, TEDxTalks, and The Canadian Centre for Diversity, and she works on initiatives with the YWCA, Eva’s Place and Free the Children. For three years in a row, Taylor has hosted La Fête à la Tête that raises funds for SickKids Hospital Brain Injury Critical Care Research Unit. The host of MUCHTALKS, Taylor moderates television specials about teen abuse, body image, and the international state of the girl.   

Taylor has had the unique privilege to travel to Africa with World Vision, and as a youth ambassador to El Salvador with Plan Canada. There is no limit to what Taylor can do to engage her audience and support a worthy cause.
