One of the world’s foremost hypnosis trainers, Mandel’s career has covered many different fields — stage performer, police trainer, psychotherapist, forensic hypnotist, martial arts instructor, and writer, to name a few. He currently runs the world’s foremost online hypnosis training academy with more than 1,000 students around the world, including psychiatrists, medical doctors, and professional therapists. He is also the co-founder of The Wellness Academy, where he teaches robust health and super fitness at any age.
Mandel is credited with reinventing the persona of the stage hypnotist and toured extensively with Canadian bands A Foot in Cold Water, Lighthouse, Max Webster, and Teenage Head. His consistent popularity and captivating comedy led him to complete five tours of Britain, and make appearances on CBCs Jonovision, YTV, Vision, W5, Discovery, and Bravo! Arts and Minds, plus numerous guest spots on Australian television.
An enlivening keynote speaker, Mandel’s impressive and diverse client list includes Microsoft, Canada Border Services, Scotiabank, Yamaha, and the Department of Defense.
Mandel holds a doctorate in clinical hypnosis, and is certified in a number of psychotherapeutic disciplines. He’s also received 18 nominations and six awards for excellence in entertainment, including the COCA Hall of Fame Award, joining the company of entertainers such as Sarah McLachlan, The Tragically Hip, and Jim Carrey.
