Jennifer Valentyne reports each morning from locations around and beyond the Greater Toronto Area with "LiveEye" on BreakfastTelevision, giving viewers a first hand account of events in and around our city. On any given day, Jennifer can be found doing anything from the flying trapeze at Circus School, milking a goat at the Winter Fair, building a house with Habitat for Humanity, repelling down a building in support of Easter Seals or jumping in Lake Ontario on for the Polar Bear Dip in support of World Vision. Jennifer's eternal optimism and flair for humour is woven into talks that are peppered with engaging stories from her youth, current job and family life.
Jennifer Valentyne started her career in 1987 at Citytv as a weekend intern while attending school and performing as a cheerleader for the Toronto Argonauts. After graduating from Centennial College’s Radio & Television Broadcasting Program, she was hired full-time as a graphics operator for MuchMusic, and then as a creator of on-air promos for both MuchMusic and Citytv. She is often remembered as the Citytv “Prize Queen.” Jennifer was 'discovered' when singing at a staff party and was hired as the "Singing Weathergirl" on BT-BreakfastTelevision.

As a supporter of numerous charitable organizations, Jennifer is the Co-Chair for The Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Toronto Bowl for Kids Sake, and is an Ambassador for Habitat for Humanity's Woman's Build. Jennifer was a Camp Councillor at Camp Oochigeas for three years and is still active in helping to raise funds, and she is a key fundraiser for the Children's Breakfast Club.

Jennifer has been a performing Jazz artist for more than 20 years. She has had the privilege of opening for Don Rickles, and has also travelled around Ontario performing two shows that she has written, Songs From My Mother's Record Collection and Love Stories. -

1. Hosting
Jennifer is the entertaining and witty 'Live Eye'; Host for Breakfast Television, Toronto's number one morning show, for over 16 years. She has had the privilege of hosting events such as The Mayor of Brampton's 'Steppin' Out for the Arts' and 'The Frankie Awards'. She also has extensive experience hosting events for companies such as: Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers and Sisters of Toronto, Camp Oochigeas, The Toronto Children's Breakfast Club and The Children's Miracle Foundation.
