Award-Winning Comedian | Star of CBC TV's Mr. D
Canadian comedian Gerry Dee is one of the funniest men to hit the comedy scene—ever. Gerry is the creator, writer, and star of the smash hit CBC TV comedy series Mr. D, and was featured in The Score’s regular segment “Gerry Dee: Sports Reporter.” Gerry’s signature stories about the absurdities of life at the front of the classroom and growing up the son of Scottish-immigrant parents have become famous to his fans.
Gerry is, in real life, a former high school teacher—it was his career until switching to full-time comedy in 2003. Thus, he bases many of the jokes and quips from the series on personal experience.
In addition to his television work, Gerry has also appeared at numerous comedy festivals, was named “Best Comic In Canada,” and finished third on NBC’s Last Comic Standing in 2008.
