Cathy Hirst

Cathy Hirst joined Speakers Spotlight in September 2010 as VICE PRESIDENT. Bringing with her  21 years experience as a speakers' agent, Cathy has provided talent to countless meeting planners and clients throughout North America. In the course of her career, she has represented a vast majority of outstanding individuals from all walks of life, and has first-hand experience with the massive changes that have taken place within the meeting planning industry.   

Widely respected for her commitment to developing and maintaining long-term business relationships, Cathy brings a passion, enthusiasm and deep knowledge base to her work that is immediately apparent to those she connects with on a daily basis.   Highly-focused on delivering innovative ideas, outstanding service and exceptional quality, her commitment to ensuring that each of her clients is treated with warmth, integrity and a liberal dash of humour guarantees that each interaction is unique and memorable.

Cathy has always recognized the value of giving back to the industry and has been a member of CSAE and MPI throughout her career, serving on various boards and committees and contributing her time and energy to many worthwhile projects.  

On a personal note, Cathy is a single mother of twins, Brock and Chantal, who keep her very busy and engaged in the small community she resides in on the West Coast.   She volunteers with many of their activities, ranging from hockey and swimming, to coaching high-school sports and is a regular visitor to her local recreation centre's gym when time and energy permit.
