Luba Goy is best known as a cast member on the CBC's award-winning television show Royal Canadian Air Farce. The contribution Luba and Air Farce makes to the world of comedy and the lives of Canadians has been honoured many times over. The Air Farce team has won a dozen ACTRA awards, a JUNO, the MacLeans Honour Roll, Honourary Degrees and were the first Canadians to be inducted into the International Humour Hall of Fame in Montreal.
Luba Goy is best known as a cast member on the CBC's award-winning television show Royal Canadian Air Farce, watched by millions. For over two decades Canadians have turned to Royal Canadian Air Farce for laughter, political zingers, social commentary and general award-winning nonsense and silliness. Over the years, Air Farce has performed a series of live comedy and musical concerts with symphony orchestras throughout Canada (Luba plays the accordion). The contribution Luba and Air Farce make to the world of comedy and the lives of Canadians has been honoured many times over. The Air Farce team has won fifteen ACTRA awards, a Juno, the Maclean's Honour Roll and honorary degrees; they were the first Canadians to be inducted into the International Humour Hall of Fame and were recently honoured with a star on Canada's Walk of Fame.
Luba Goy was awarded a honourary law degree from Brock University and received the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award from Women in Film and Television. Her wacky characters and zany wit have thrilled all types of audiences across the country.
