Canada's #1 Musical Comedy Duo
George Bowser and Rick Blue have been writing and performing music and comedy together for more than twenty years. Their Christmas TV special 'Two Nuts Roasting On An Open Fire' was nominated for a Gemini, and they have now released their twelfth CD titled 'She Wants Me'. Colorectal Surgeons around the world are familiar with them... through their song 'Working Where the Sun Don't Shine'. Bowser and Blue live in Montreal, where they often appear at the 'Just for Laughs' comedy festival. They are currently working on another Television special.
George Bowser and Rick Blue have been writing and performing music and comedy together for more than twenty years. They are both accomplished musicians, vocalists, comedians and writers. Their Christmas TV special, "Two Nuts Roasting on an Open Fire", was nominated for a Gemini, and they have now released their twelfth CD, titled "She Wants Me".
Colorectal surgeons around the world are familiar with them through their song "Working Where the Sun Don't Shine", which was first heard on CBC radio's Madly Off in All Directions in 1997. Bowser and Blue have appeared on CBC television's hit show Comics! and have performed numerous times at Montreal's Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and Winnipeg's CBC Comedy Festival. The latest DVD "We're All Here" combines a 2000 Brome Lake Theatre concert and a 2002 Hudson Village Theatre concert. In 2003 they wrote a full length musical "The Paris of America" produced at Montreal's Centaur Theatre and had a book published entitled The Illustrated Canadian Songbook with cartoons by Aislin and an introduction by Paul Martin. Their latest theatrical venture entitled "Four Anglos of the Apocalypse" pairs them with colleagues Josh Freed and Aislin.
