Legendary baseball manager Sparky Anderson is the third winningest manager in baseball history. From 1970 through 1978, he guided the hard-hitting Cincinnati Reds, leading them to five National League West Division titles, four pennants, and two World Series victories. From 1979 to 1995, he was at the helm of the Detroit Tigers. Under his leadership, the Tigers won their first World Series in 1984 and took the American League East Division title in 1987.
