Theresa Albert takes on the challenge of demystifying myths surrounding food and health. Health is not supposed to be THAT hard.  Her raft of experience and good dose of reality guides her delivery as a “realistic nutritionist”.  Definitely not a finger wagger, as a registered nutritionist, Theresa Albert, DHN, RNCP, has a passion for simple, honest solutions to today's lifestyle choices.  She has provided content and comment for every major Canadian broadcaster and is forever pushing the bologna out of lunchboxes and out of the news media.  In addition, as an avid social media user, blogger/writer and as a parent, she understands the struggles of balancing priorities in real life.  In print newspapers and magazines, you will often see her quoted when an issue needs common sense clarification.

Theresa’s second book, Ace Your Health, 52 Ways to Stack Your Deck, was published in January 2011, and it is expected to be the bestseller that her first, Cook Once a Week, Eat Well Every Day was.  This new book creatively shows readers how to make one small change per week and guides them with a fun system using the analogy of a deck of cards. Her Food Network TV show, Just One Bite!, introduced her humorous, accessible approach to food coupled with an overwhelming sense of the possible.

Her key communication skill is to distill complex concepts into simple, savvy ways to make small changes in their choices. She factors in concern for the planet, the pocket, the clock and the moment and stands just 5 feet tall but steadfastly points the way.  In Theresa's private practice as a Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner at the Toronto Clinic she sees pro-active change every day. In a group setting, her talks always leave people with tangible tools that they are inspired to (and able to) use.

Theresa has been involved with a number of organizations as a media spokesperson including, Mum’s Original Hemp, Stealth Health Foods, Kitchen Aid, The Canadian Liver Foundation, Bullfrog Power, Summer Fresh Hummus and Mott’s Applesauce. As a consultant to corporations, non-profit organizations as well as a dynamic media spokesperson and motivational speaker, her message is always clear. Food is at the very centre of both our inner and outer worlds and is the cornerstone of our health, our culture, our economy and our social lives.
